Nightlife Vibes

Embracing both grit and finesse, The Urban Art Gallery stands as a vibrant boutique nestled in the heart of south Tel Aviv, housed within the ground floor of a bustling nightclub. By day, it welcomes a diverse array of visitors, while by night, it transforms, suffused with the rhythmic beats and vibrant energy of the city’s nightlife.

Several months ago, Anna, the gallery’s proprietor, reached out to me with an exciting proposition. She revealed plans for a special exhibition slated for late May, featuring the most promising Israeli photographers. Eager to elevate the gallery’s ambiance, Ina envisioned infusing it with an edgy, nocturnal aesthetic, reflective of Tel Aviv’s perpetual buzz.

My task was clear: to craft a fresh brand identity for this esteemed establishment, one that bridged tradition with a more polished, cohesive visual language. We decided to unveil the new brand concurrently with the photography exhibition. Throughout the process, I spearheaded a comprehensive rebranding effort, encompassing logo design, a brand book, design templates, and captivating poster artwork for the highly anticipated showcase.

From Streets to Frames

Anna’s passion lies not just in the visual allure of photography but also in its profound storytelling potential. The gallery serves as a platform for talented photographers worldwide, capturing candid moments that resonate deeply—the joyous child, the resolute sanitation worker, the elderly gentleman taking a midnight stroll with his faithful canine companion, surrounded by the city’s pulse.

It’s precisely this narrative richness that inspired the creation of a brand reflective of Ina’s vision and the gallery’s ethos. We aimed to convey to every visitor that they were stepping into a realm of unparalleled artistic discovery—a sanctuary where exclusive photography awaits, showcasing untapped talent and immortalizing the extraordinary in the seemingly mundane.
